Coaching Services
In addition to coaching a marathon training program in Charleston, South Carolina, Coach Greg also offers individual and group training. Periodically, he coaches a Couch to 5K program for those who are just starting or resuming their running careers.
All Charleston Runs athletes are invited to join in on all of our group runs and group track workouts when scheduled.
Intensive Coaching
If you live in the Charleston, SC area, and you would like to have a personal coach to help you through your runs, this is the service for you. The first month will include an in-depth, in-person evaluation as well as a detailed training plan with instructions on specific flexibility and strength training exercises. This plan is ideal for the beginning runner that needs extra attention and the more experienced runner looking for a more detailed, personal experience. Regardless of your ability level, this type of coaching will provide you with the opportunity to work individually with a coach and have your specific needs addressed. The cost includes a one-hour private track or road workout each week with Coach Greg and you will receive a weekly phone call or email inquiring about your progress. Unlimited email support included. Cost: First month $150, subsequent months $120.
Local Coaching with One-on-One Training
If you live in the Charleston, SC area, and you would like a more personal experience, we can schedule meetings throughout your training plan. The first month includes a full, in-person evaluation as well as a detailed training plan with instructions on specific flexibility and strength training exercises. Price: $125, subsequent months cost $80 per month and includes one one-hour training session each month and unlimited email support. Multiple month discounts are available.
Personal Coaching
In the midst of your busy life you can still receive personalized training. This type of coaching will involve communication that is primarily done by email. The first month of coaching includes an initial phone consultation (approximately 30-60 minutes) and a full training plan. Unlimited email support included. First month: $75, subsequent months: $50.
Group Coaching
If you have some friends that are interested in coaching, we can set up a group training program. The type of program can be done in-person or online. Regardless of the method, each member of the group will receive an initial consultation and a full training plan with detailed instructions on specific flexibility and strength training exercises. Prices vary depending on the type of coaching needed. There is a 3-person minimum for all groups.
Training Plans
If you just want a training plan for a specific race, we can develop a training plan geared towards your specific goals and needs. The price for a training plan includes a consultation to determine your current fitness level, health/injury history, and running goals. Prices vary based on training plan length and race distance.
